
A two-day national conference was successfully organized at Regional college on February 17–18, 2025. The conference was funded and organized in cooperation with the Commission for Scientific and Technical Terminology (CSTT), Ministry of Education, (Deptt. of Higher Education), Government of India, New Delhi.
The conference included discussions about research, innovation, and educational improvements and aimed to examine the relevance of technical terminology in relation to the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Prof. Kedar Narayan Bairwa, Vice-Principal, RCERT, was nominated as the National Conference Coordinator along with Dr. Sumit Sharma and Dr. Satyendra Pratap Singh as Assistant Coordinators.
Inaugural Ceremony & Day 1 Highlights
An eminent gathering of scholars, researchers, and students initiated the conference. Chief Guest, Dr. Arun Chaturvedi, former Cabinet Minister, Government of Rajasthan, emphasized the importance of Indian languages in carrying out NEP-2020. In order to ensure accessibility and diversity in learning, he emphasized the significance of employing local languages as a medium of instruction in higher education.
Apart from this, renowned persons from esteemed instutions including JNU, MNIT, and DRDO, as well as representatives from other state colleges and universities, offered their insights on the development of technical language. Er. J.S. Rawat, Conference In-charge Officer (CSTT, Ministry of Education), explained the aims & objectives of the conference and highlighted the role of instruction in local language as well as the development and use of technical terminology.
Counting on the distinguished list of guests for Day 1, Advocate Gajraj Singh Rajawat (Advocates Bar Association, Jaipur), Laxman Lal Nitharwal (Rajasthan Education Services), and Dr. Neelu Jain (Manipal University, Jaipur) was among the special guests . Within the scope of NEP-2020, they discussed research, innovation, increasing teacher capacity, and ongoing assessment.
Coming to the evening session, guest lectures were delivered by Dr. Girish Mishra (Scientist, DRDO, New Delhi) and Prof. Sanjay Bhardwaj (Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi). Prof. Bhardwaj shared information on teachers, media, Sanskrit, value-based education, and educational leadership while Dr. Mishra’s discussion revolved around how education in the mother tongue increases students’ confidence. Students from Deepshikha Kala Sansthan and Regional College gave beautiful performances in the cultural event held in the evening.
Closing Ceremony & Day 2 Highlights
The second day of the conference witnessed discussions from prominent academicians including:

The conference concluded with a grand felicitation ceremony where awards were presented to participants and research scholars by Dr. Ashok Singh Shekhawat (Director, RCERT), Er. Jai Singh Rawat (Conference Officer), and Dr. Surajmal Rao (Chief Guest, Closing Ceremony). The 2 day event was a gaiety event and we thank all the faculty members, management, college staff and students for organising such a thought-provoking and influential conference.
