Mechanical Engineering Students Won Prize Money worth Rs. 5000 in the THAR 2020 CHAMPIONSHIP
The students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Regional College for Education Research and Technology, Sitapura participated in the THAR-2020 CHAMPIONSHIP organized at RTU Campus, Kota. It was a three-day event that took place from 28th February 2020 to 1st March 2020 and around 18 students from the Mechanical Engineering department of the college participated in the event. Several activities took place in the championship but our proud students represented the college by participating in the GO CART CHALLENGE CHAMPIONSHIP. We are proud to share that our students won prize money worth Rs. 5000/- in this championship. 
The winning in the competition was the result of dedicated and combined efforts of the faculty members of the Mechanical Engineering department and the students. The team Regional Motor Sports was guided by Kedar Sir (HOD, Department of Mechanical Engineering) and Naveen Sharma Sir (Faculty Coordinator). The team was preparing for the championship for a long time and each time they identified the challenges, they worked with greater zeal and enthusiasm to achieve perfection. Moreover, the team was led by Prince Kumar Pathak.
On behalf of the Regional College family, our Vice Chairman Dr. Anshu Surana Sir congratulated the team members of the Regional Motor Sports team who participated in the THAR-2020 CHAMPIONSHIP along with the HOD Sir (Mechanical Engineering Department) and the Faculty Coordinator Sir. At Regional College, we motivate students to participate in such events as they give them the necessary exposure to showcase their skills and talents. Further, the experience gained through such events enables students to gain adequate knowledge about the practical application of engineering education. Thus, students can use this experience to solve real-world problems and can ensure brighter career prospects and opportunities in the near future.
