Regional College, Sitapura, Jaipur, in collaboration with the National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA), organized “Desh ka Prakriti Parikshan Abhiyaan” (Healthcare Wellness Camp) on 17th December 2024. The event, held at the Regional College campus, aimed to raise awareness about natural health services and preventive wellness among students and the community.
The “Desh Ka Prakriti Parikshan Abhiyan,” launched by PM Modi during the 9th Ayurveda Day, aims to revolutionize healthcare awareness across India. The initiative focuses on understanding an individual’s unique body constitution (Prakriti) and providing lifestyle guidance based on it.
By following personalized recommendations, individuals can maintain physical and mental health and prevent diseases, including non-communicable diseases (NCDs). This campaign brings Ayurveda closer to every household, empowering citizens to embrace preventive and personalized health practices.
As part of the Ministry of AYUSH’s nationwide initiative, the camp focused on encouraging health screenings and spreading awareness about nature-based healthcare practices. Experts from the National Institute of Ayurveda conducted health assessments and consultations, emphasizing the importance of Ayurveda in modern preventive care.
Dr. Prem Surana, Chairman, along with Dr. Anshu Surana, Vice-Chairman, Prof. (Dr.) Ashok Singh Shekhawat, Director, welcomed the attendees. The camp was attended by renowned health professionals, including Dr. Rakesh Nagar from NIA, Jaipur, who highlighted the initiative’s role in promoting holistic well-being.
The event was a big success, with active participation from students, staff, and local residents. Such initiatives align with the government’s vision to make healthcare accessible while integrating traditional wellness practices.
